Missing DLL`s

Answer

In rare cases it can happen that after starting the program an error message complaining about missing DLLs. Typical are evidence of any lack of "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll" or "MFC 140.dll". For the different versions of the program we have put together the appropriate runtime libraries and these are available at the following download locations.

http://download.chessbase.com/support/vc100/vcredist_x64.exe Download ..... (This download is for: CB12, Fritz13 / Houdini3 until Fritz14.35 / Houdini4 / Komodo8 / Komodo9)

http://download.chessbase.com/support/vc120/vcredist_x64.exe  Download .... (This download is appropriate to CB13.18 until Fritz15.5 /, from Fritz14.36)

http://download.chessbase.com/support/vc140/vcredist_x64.exe Download .... (This download is specifically designed from CB13.19, from Fritz15.6 / Komodo10)

If you are confronted with the error messages described above, download the appropriate Vcredist.exe down, store them on the hard disk and then run the file manually.

If you use the 32 Bit Version, then you have to install the package for the 32 Bit Version.

Please replace the term „vcredist_x64.exe“ with „vcredist_x86.exe “.

Example: http://download.chessbase.com/support/vc140/vcredist_x86.exe
